The Senate meeting began with a few announcements. There was a deadline extension of applications to this Sunday, Feb. 17 at 5:00 p.m. The applications are for executive positions for Senate, which you must have two semesters of experience in Student Senate to be applicable, at large Student Senate representatives, Communication Committee Chair, and Community Board of Standards (CBS) positions of which there are three. All of these positions require at least a 2.0 GPA.

The other announcement was to remind people to fill out the Princeton Review Survey.

The next order of business was the Hanover Residence Halls Laundry Proposal. This was to get a new laundry system where each student would be charged $40 per semester that would be added onto the total price tag of Hanover. This would replace the quarter system we have now.

The meeting then broke up into committee meetings. Perspectives and SOAC had a joint meeting.

Perspectives:
· A survey about the washers.
· Getting feedback about the Princeton Review to make changes at Hanover.

SOAC:
· Lampposts are still out at the point.
· Recycling bin for the computer lab for paper and ink cartridges.
